Sisters Ashley Dube, left, of Troop 405 and Meagan Dube of Troop 709 carefully double check the count of cookie boxes in a customer order. The Girl Scouts of Maine limits the type and number of opportunities for the troops to earn money for their community service projects and activities, so the annual Girl Scout cookie sale is an important fundraiser for the girls. This year, over 1,100 cases of cookies were delivered to the  Diamond Area on Saturday, March 3. Cases were diligently unloaded and stacked by hard working Girl Scouts.
