SAD 70, which includes Amity, Cary, Haynesville, Hodgdon, Linneus, Ludlow, New Limerick and Orient, will conduct registration for students entering Kindergarten and the Pre-K program on Wednesday-Friday, March 21-23 at the Mill Pond School.
To be eligible for Kindergarten, a student must be 5 years old on or before Oct. 15 of this year. To be eligible for Pre-K, your child must be 4 years old by Oct. 15. When registering, parents need to bring their child’s vaccination records and his/her birth certificate. Parents may also bring their child’s Social Securty number if they so choose.
SAD 70 offers a full day of Kindergarten. Pre-K classes meet for half days Monday through Thursday. Parents with eligible children who have not received a pre-registration letter should contact Principal Loreen Wiley at 532-9228.
Those children who are already registered in Pre-K do not need to pre-register for Kindergarten.
