LaPointe, Norman S. Jr., 38, of Caribou and Fort Fairfield, in Fort Fairfield, on March 7, 2012. There will be no services at this time, however a private interment will be held in the spring. Arrangements are in the care of Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, Fort Fairfield.
CARIBOU & FORT FAIRFIELD – Norman S. LaPointe Jr., 38, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday morning, March 7, 2012, at his Fort Fairfield residence. He was born May 18, 1973, in Caribou, the son of Norman S., Sr. and Sandra Ann (Tarbox) LaPointe.
He was a graduate of the Presque Isle High School, Class of 1992, and had been employed by McDonald’s, Presque Isle, and Dunkin Donuts as a truck driver. He greatly enjoyed video games, NASCAR and wrestling.
In addition to his parents, Norman was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Leslie Tarbox, Sr.; and paternal grandmother, Zoe LaPointe.
He is survived by his sister, Shelly Tardy and her companion, Floyd Hafford of Washburn; maternal grandmother, Marcella E. Tarbox of Caribou; one nephew; and his best friend, Eddie Plourde of Fort Fairfield.
There will be no services at this time, however a private interment will be held in the spring. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield.
