AR Kim PelletierORRINGTON & CYR PLANTATION — Kim A. Pelletier, 34, of Orrington, died peacefully at home on March 7, 2012, surrounded by her loving family, following a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born May 3, 1977, in Grand Falls, N.B., Canada, the daughter of Delano and Jocelyne (Leclair) LaPlante. Kim was raised in Cyr Plantation and was a 1994 graduate of Van Buren District Secondary School. Kim attended the University of Southern Maine, graduating in 1998 with a B.A. in Accounting. She was a sorority sister of Phi Mu Sorority while attending U.S.M. Kim was a Certified Public Accountant, employed with Bangor Savings Bank where she was a supervisor accountant and Vice President in the Accounting Department. She enjoyed reading, shopping, traveling, and spending time with her family, friends, and her pets, Jake and Kitty.

Kim is survived by her loving husband of 12 years, Bobbie Pelletier of Orrington; her parents, Delano and Jocelyne Laplante of Cyr Plantation; her sister, Annie Nadeau and husband, David of Caribou; her paternal memere, Lucie LaPlante of Van Buren; nephew and Godchild, Matthew Nadeau and niece, Kaitlyn Nadeau, both of Caribou; nephew Andrew Pelletier and fiancée, Heather Martin and their daughter, Shanya, Kim’s Godchild, of Caribou; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clifford and Nancy Pelletier of Cross Lake; brother-in-law, Shawn Pelletier and wife, Sharon of New Sweden; brother-in-law, Kevin Pelletier and wife, Pam of Limestone; special friend and cousin, Jill Ouellette of Ellsworth; special friends Shellie Dumas of Virginia and Suzanne (Ashley) Johndro of Rockland; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. Kim was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Madeleine and Levite Leclair and paternal grandfather, Alphonse LaPlante, and a brother-in-law, Chad Pelletier.

A funeral mass was celebrated on Tuesday, March 13 at the St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church. Spring interment will be in the parish cemetery.
