VAN BUREN — Officials with MSAD 24 school district have announced that the upcoming registration for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten pupils for the 2010-2013 school year will take place from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21 in the guidance office at the High School.
To be eligible for kindergarten, a child must be five years old prior to Oct. 15, 2012 and for pre-K registration, a child must be four years old prior to Oct. 15, 2012.
Officials are reminding parents and guardians that if your child attended pre-k this year, than he/she does not need to re-register for kindergarten.
A valid state birth certificate and immunization records must be presented at the time of registration; students who are not properly immunized when the school year begins will not be allowed to attend school.
