Katahdin Trust in Island Falls robbed

    Katahdin Trust Bank in Island Falls was robbed shortly before noon Tuesday. State police  said no weapon was shown and only two tellers were in the building at the time.  The robber, who was dressed from head to toe in black, demanded money and made off with an undisclosed amount in a blue bag that he had brought with him. 
    Troopers believe he parked his getaway vehicle between two potato houses, a short distance away from the bank. Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call State Police in Houlton at 532-5400.
