Sewing class starts March 28
Houlton Adult Education has scheduled a Beginning Sewing class for Wednesday, March 28. This class runs for six sessions through Wednesday, May 9, and is held from 6-8 p.m. (excluding April vacation week, April 18). The class will meet at the Houlton High School and the instructor is Penny Richardson. The course fee is $50. For more information contact Mary Murray.
WorkReady begins this week
The WorkReady program is running at the Houlton Higher Education Center on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday through March 30, 2012. This 60-hour program of on-the- job skills is designed for job seekers, employers, and entrepreneurs wishing to upgrade communication, teamwork, and self-management skills.
