Ouellette, Gerald W., 57, of Connor Twp., in Caribou, on February 27, 2012. Interment will take place in the spring at the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.


AR Gerald OuelletteConnor Twp. – Gerald W. Ouellette, 57, died unexpectedly February 27, 2012, as the result of a logging accident in Caribou. He was born in Caribou April 14, 1954, the son of Kenneth and Bertha (O’Clair) Ouellette. Gerald was a 1972 graduate of Caribou High School and was a self-employed potato grower in Connor for a number of years.  More recently, he was a self-employed logging contractor with his son, Scott. He was a life-time member of the Parish of Precious Blood Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a third degree member of the Fred V. Brescia Council Knights of Columbus. Gerald will always be remembered for his care and concern for others and his big smile. He married Sandra Levesque July 19, 1974.

Surviving in addition to his wife Sandra of Connor; are his mother, Bertha Ouellette of Caribou; one daughter, Kimberly Ouellette and her companion, Lee Madore of Caribou; one son, Scott Ouellette of Connor; one brother, Harald Ouellette of Caribou; one sister, Ruth Chamberlain of Caribou; two grandchildren, Zackary Madore and Sean Sadler of Caribou; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Kenneth.

Friends called at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, 7-9 p.m. Thursday. A Mass of Christian Burial was held 11 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will take place in the spring at the Sacred Heart Cemetery. www.mocklerfuneralhome.com
