St. Peter, Blanche M., 80, of Caribou, in Caribou, on March 5, 2012. Frieends may call at the funeral home Thursday, 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m., March 9, from the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Arrangements are in the care of Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.


AR Blanche StPeterCaribou — Blanche M. St. Peter, 80 wife of the late Rene St. Peter Sr. died March 5, 2012 at Caribou. She was born in Caribou May 27, 1931 the daughter of the late Joseph and Cecile (O’Clair) Michaud. Mrs. St Peter was a member of the Parish of the Precious Blood Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. 

She is survived by her two sons, Rene St. Peter Jr. and his fiancé, Lori McMillion and Gary St. Peter all of Caribou; two daughters, Arlene Chambers and her husband, Philip of Fort Fairfield and Diane Schinn and her fiancé, Richard Shelton of Anchorage AK; one brother, Gilbert O’Clair of Limestone; four sisters, Anita Chambless of Shellman, Ga., Gertrude Minor and her husband, Robert of New York, Germaine Damboise and her husband, Lionel of Fairfield and Mary Guerrette and her husband, Robert of Caribou; eight grandchildren, Tanya Stubbs, Jennifer Belanger, Lisa Longley, Jason, Ryan, and Kyle St. Peter, and Danielle and Duane Schinn; ten great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Mrs. St. Peter was predeceased by her husband, Rene in 2003 and a brother, Henry.

Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou 7-9 p.m. Thursday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2012, from the Parish of the Precious Blood Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Very Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie, officiating.
