Support appreciated
The Trail Runners’ clubhouse in Washburn was recently the venue for a large supper to assist with the expenses incurred by the Pike family during a recent medical emergency, which included trips to Bangor and Portland hospitals.
There were approximately 100-plus visitors who came out to give their best wishes to the family and enjoyed the companionship of all, as well as a delicious variety of soups, stews, rolls and desserts.
The family more than appreciates all the encouragement and support by friends, relatives and the community during this stressful time.
