FORT FAIRFIELD — The current chief of the Fort Fairfield Police Department, Bill Campbell, is requesting the public’s help in collecting photos of former chiefs.
“We’re looking for photographs of all the past chiefs for the department, with the intent of creating a display at the station,” said Campbell, noting it would be similar to what the Presque Isle Police Department has done in its lobby.
Campbell said they don’t have to be professional portraits, family photos will do as well.
“We asking to borrow from the public images of past chiefs, which we will then have reproduced and post at the PD. It’s our way of honoring their service to the community,” said Campbell.
Photos can be brought directly to the station, located at 18 Community Drive. For more information, call Campbell at 472-3808.
