Tucker, a long-hair black and white cat, came to HHPR from a stray situation in Caribou. “He was very badly matted and require a grooming with a ‘Lion’s cut’ to clean up his hair growth,” explained HHPR President Norma Milton. Tucker was adopted over the weekend at the Adult Adoption Cat Fair at the Tractor Supply Store in Presque Isle along with five other adult cats. All adult cats from HHPR are spayed or neutered, have been leukemia and AIDS tested and have received their distemper and rabies shot as well as parasite prevention treatment. The adoption fee for an adult cat is $25. “If you are looking for a good loving cat for your family, call HHPR at 492-1722,” Milton encouraged.
