UMPI student to offer Dancercize to public
PRESQUE ISLE — University of Maine at Presque Isle Junior and Dance Team Vice President/Co-Captain Emily Keaton will be instructing a program similar to Zumba — aerobics through dancing.
The next session will begin Tuesday, Feb. 28, and run until Thursday, March 22. Sessions will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:30 p.m. in Gentile Hall. The cost to participate in the eight sessions is $25. Emily has experience with dance through her 12 years at the Maine Dance Academy and is currently choreographing the routines for the UMPI Dance Team. To sign up for the next session of Dancersize, a check or cash can be brought to the Student Affairs Office in UMPI’s South Hall by Monday, Feb. 27.
