Congratulations go to the Central Aroostook Varsity Cheerleaders for bringing home the gold! They won their fifth state title in a row this past weekend. Great job!
The Aroostook Health Center in Mars Hill celebrated National Wear Red Day on Friday, Feb. 3, by wearing red and raising awareness of the dangers of heart disease in women. Bridgewater Historical to meet
The Bridgewater Historical Association will hold a meeting on Monday, Feb. 20,th at the Civic Center in Bridgewater at 7 p.m., weather permitting. If you haven’t done so already, please come prepared to pay your 2012 dues. They are still $5 a year. Newcomers welcome.

Upcoming events for the week of Feb. 15- 21 at the Aroostook Health Center in Mars Hill include: Wednesday — the Beauty Parlor at 8:30 a.m., Table Tennis at 9:30 a.m., and Devotions with Velma at 2:30 p.m.; Thursday has the Beauty Parlor at 8:30 a.m., Bingo at 9:30 a.m., February Birthday Party at 1:30 p.m. and the United Methodist Church at 6:30 p.m.; Friday, Feb. 17, will have Bingo Bucks at 9:30 a.m. and Crossword Puzzles at 1:30 p.m.; Saturday is a free day; Sunday will feature the Full Gospel Assembly at 3 p.m.; Monday, Presidents Day is “Eighties Day” as the start of Winter Carnival Week and will feature Patriotic Songs with Judy Saucier at 2:15 p.m.; Tuesday, Feb. 21, is Crazy Hat Day and will have the Beauty Parlor at 8:30 a.m., Bingo at 9:30 a.m., and Communion with Pastor Palmer at 1:30 p.m. All of these activities are subject to change. If you would like to volunteer to help with any of these activities, contact Connie or Vicki at 768-4915.
Rotary Club
The Mars Hill Rotary Club met on Tuesday morning, Feb. 7, at 6:30 at the Aroostook Health Center. The club presidents gave a report on the recent meeting held with other area presidents. Club members also discussed upcoming activities.
