Fundraisers under way for non-profit
A non-profit organization, which supports equine assisted programs in Aroostook County, has kicked off their fundraising efforts for 2012.
Mane and Tails will be holding a countywide bottle drive and a spring barn dance to take place in Caribou, along with other fundraisers.
Drop off sites for the bottle drive are the Tractor Supply Company stores in Houlton and Presque Isle. If you would like to have bottles picked up call 868-5324, 484-1231 or 538-9736.
Through raffle sales, grants, dinners, donations of money, time and equipment, Manes and Tails (MT) has sponsored dozens of special needs children and families to attend programs and supported trainings for several facilitators.
