BU-CLR-pantry-dc-pt-05The Bangor Savings Bank Foundation has given a total of $56,000 to local food pantries statewide, including $1,000 to St. Mary’s Food Pantry of Houlton. “We know that folks in Maine are heavily committed to their communities and the non-profits are critical to the fabric and quality of life of our communities,” said Jim Conlon, president and CEO of Bangor Savings Bank. “Maine is fortunate to have organizations like the St. Mary’s Food Pantry that volunteer their time distributing food and helping with awareness of hunger in Maine.” Accepting the donation from bank vice president/northern regional market manager, Chris Nickerson, right, is Mildred Madigan, left, of the food pantry.
