PRESQUE ISLE — In celebration of winter fun, families are invited to come to the University of Maine at Presque Isle and experience the thrill of a short dog sled ride. Heywood Kennel Sled Dog Adventures from Stockholm will have two sets of friendly working huskies and sleds guided by registered Maine guides on campus Wednesday, Feb. 1, from 12 to 5 p.m. This is a great opportunity to try out this exciting adventure. Children and adults are welcome and two people can go in one sled. The cost is only $2 per person per ride and you can take as many rides as you want.
