Reggie Hanson, president of the Caribou Snowmobile Club, in recognition of his more than 25 years of maintaining and grooming the local snowmobile club trails, recently presented Roger Andrews of Woodland, left, with a Caribou Snowmobile Club jacket. According to Hanson, Andrews has retired from this job at which he operated and maintained the double-track groomer used to keep the trails fresh, as well as other trail maintenance such as trail re-routes, bush cutting, bridge work and placing and retrieving trail signs and field markers. “He has been one of the ‘behind the scenes’ people who have been instrumental in keeping the Aroostook County trail system in place and maintained,” stated Hanson.
