Herbert L. Lush, 88, died in a local hospital in Anchorage, Alaska, on Nov. 7, 2011, after a massive stroke. He was a graduate of Caribou High School in 1942, and a member of the Alaskan Retired Teachers Association with a Masters Degree from the University of Maine. He was the son of Rev. Philip & Mrs. Lush, pastor of the Caribou Methodist Church in the 40’s, who are deceased.
Remaining is his wife of 61 years, Louise Hutchins Lush, four children; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a brother, Elmo Lush of Fairfax Station, Va. and a sister, Thelma Thibodeau of West Harley, N.Y. (a graduate of Caribou High School in 1944), two brothers, Earl and Aubrey Lush also predeceased him.
He and Louise had a very expansive life and traveled a big part of the world.
