WASHINGTON, D.C. — Sen. Susan Collins has announced that Sarah Graettinger of Presque Isle will be working as an intern in her Aroostook County Office during the Fall and Spring semesters.

“I am excited to have Sarah in my Caribou office, she is an enthusiastic and hard working student,” said Sen. Collins. “I welcome the addition of interns to my offices because it will give them an opportunity to become involved in the legislative process.”

Graettinger is the daughter of Chuck Graettinger of Presque Isle and the late Jennifer Bourgoine of New Sweden. A 2007 graduate of Caribou High School, she is currently a senior at the University of Maine at Presque Isle, graduating in May with a degree in international studies with a concentration in history and a minor in mass communication.

The new intern said that she enjoys working in a Congressional office and helping the citizens of Maine.
