Mild mannered Mary

Mary resides at a Halfway Home Pet Rescue Foster Home, where volunteers report that she is quiet, clean, well-mannered and happy to roll around playing with her toys. “Mary is not a lap cat yet but will surely become one after she gets to know you,” said HHPR president Norma Milton. Mary has been leukemia/AIDS tested, received all her shots, has been spayed, thoroughly groomed and has received parasite prevention treatment. Volunteers say that Mary came from a difficult background where she learned to survive by waiting her turn. “She doesn’t hiss, spit or fight — her problem is only that she runs through the house to hide when strangers show up to see her,” Milton said. “All Mary needs is time to develop trust and a family who is willing to give her that time.” Her mellow nature qualifies her to have the freedom of her foster home, and Mary is “free” to a good home.
