EAST CHAPMAN – Viola M. Beaulieu, 83, a dedicated and devoted daughter, sister and aunt, died December 28, 2011, at the Aroostook Health Center in Mars Hill. She was born on Sept. 17, 1928, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Edmund and Anna (Bouchard) Beaulieu. She was a hard working person, worked as a cook at NMVTI, and area restaurants including Roma Café, Simpsons, and Shirley and Harold’s. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, a member of the Daughters of Isabella, the altar society, and the Spragueville Extension.
She is survived by a brother, Franklin Beaulieu and his wife, Anita of Chapman; five sisters; Mildred Beaulieu and her husband, Charles of Chapman, Carol Giles of Bangor, Joan Dietrich and her husband, Joe of Brunswick, Loretta Beaulieu of Mars Hill, and Edna Pirie of Chapman; brother-in-law, William Mosberg of Arnold, MD; a sister-in-law, Monique Beaulieu of Topsham; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by Rena, Brenda, Bernard and Reginald Beaulieu, Linda Mosberg, and a baby girl, Beaulieu.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated 1 p.m. Friday, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Parish of the Precious Blood, Presque Isle. Friends called at the church from noon until time of the Mass. A reception followed at the K of C Hall. The family wishes to thank everyone at the Aroostook Health Care Center in Mars Hill, for the loving and wonderful care they gave Viola, and especially, to Dr. David Jones.
