    WESTFIELD – Mabel Lunney, 95, passed away Friday, December 30, 2011, at a Caribou nursing home. She was born October 12, 1916, in Caswell, the daughter of James and Phronia (Condon) Brooker.

    Mabel was married to Ellery Lunney for many years and they resided in Westfield for many years. Mabel was a talented cook, loved to travel and was a frequent visitor to garage sales. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Westfield and was also the last surviving charter member.

    She is survived by two sons, James and his wife, Nancy of Windham, and Edward of Westfield; a daughter, Dolores Lunney of Westfield; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind three special nieces, Janet Allen, Paula Carson, and Marilyn Lovely.

    In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ellery; three brothers, Zenneth, Kenneth and Edward; sister, Leona Garrison; and three grandchildren.

    Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with Pastor Larry Palmer officiating.
