    McNally, Barbara E., 91, January 1, 2012.  Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home.  Interment to be held in the Stacyville Cemetery.
    STACYVILLE – Barbara E. McNally, 91, died Jan. 1, 2012 in Patten. She was born Sept. 20, 1920, in Benedicta, daughter of Fenton and Ellen (Rush) McAvoy.
    She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Mission and Sodality.
    She is survived by three daughters, Linda Guernsey of Bangor, Brenda and Thom Brockman of Spanish Fort, Ala., and Lynn and Henry Tyler of Hampden; ten grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson; one sister, Hanora Braswell of Winchester, Va.; two very close sisters-in-law, Jessie McAvoy and Sandra Noonan; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Ora; thirteen siblings; son-in-law, Ed Guernsey; and one grandson, Christopher Brockman.
    The family thanks Mount Heights staff for their care and compassion in the care of their “Little Mother” Barb.
    Friends may call 10-11 a.m. Thursday at St. Benedicts Catholic Church, Benedicta, with a mass of Christian burial beginning 11 a.m. with Father David Raymond, celebrant. A time of fellowship will be held immediately after. Interment will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Stacyville Cemetery.
