TAMC Picture Palooza
celebrates 100 years of healthcare
PRESQUE ISLE — TAMC is celebrating 100 years of healthcare history by holding an event sure to please history buffs and people who like to look at old pictures.
Contributed photo PICTURE PALOOZA — This group shot of The A.R. Gould Medical Staff in the 1950s: Drs. Griffiths, Somerville, Reynolds, Donahue, Higgins, Helfrich, Brennan, Boone, Giberson and Wilson, will be one of the photos on display during TAMC’s Picture Palooza.
TAMC has pulled hundreds of photos from its archives, and the medical center needs the community’s help to identify the people and stories behind the pictures. The public is invited to assist by joining TAMC for Picture Palooza, part of the Star City First Night Celebration. Photos and a few historical items from the city’s healthcare past will be on display, and the public will be invited to share stories that will be shared on TAMC’s website and on YouTube.
Picture Palooza will be held on New Year’s Eve from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Northeastland Hotel Red Room. For more information, please call 768-4012.
