DEXTER — The Caribou Vikings wrestling team scored two wins and one loss in Dexter over the weekend in a three-team meet. Caribou beat Piscataquis Community High School, 66-10, and Washington Academy, 48-36. The Vikings did fall to the host Dexter Tigers, 36-40.
Wrestling coach James “Chico” Hernandez said there were many good performances and praised the effort of the team overall.
Caribou wrestlers who went undefeated Saturday are Deion Caudill, Colby Conroy, Matt Manter and Breandan Wood.
Hernandez said freshman Robert Caudill looked impressive as did Morgan Swan, who was 1-0 but also won two exhibition matches.
