Caribou coach Ryan Deprey said it was a great game for three quarters, but the Vikings only scored five points in the last 10 minutes of the contest and lost 42-36.

“That was just not getting it done,” he said. “We have to close out games better. We have a deep bench and I need to do a better job utilizing that to keep the kids fresher for better results late in the game.”

Rebecca McDougal led Caribou in scoring with 13 and Alexa Massey chipped in with seven.

Emily Tilton netted 12 points and collected 13 rebounds to lead John Bapst.
