Athletes of the Week
The Varsity Club and Big Cheese Pizza are pleased to congratulate Meredith Stewart and Andrew Kofstad for being selected as athletes of the week for he week of Nov. 28 – Dec. 3.
Stewart scored 20 points to lead the varsity girls basketball team past Carleton North.
Kofstad scored 11 points in the third quarter to lead the boys varsity basketball team to a come-from-behind win against Waterville.
Rec Christmas Party
The Presque Isle Recreation and Parks Department will be hosting the annual Kids’ Christmas Party on Dec. 16 from 5:30 – 8 p.m. for all youth in grades 1-5. This event includes games, food and a gift swap at the end. For more information please contact the Rec Department at 764-2545.
