The Terrific Tuesday Kids’ Choir, now in its 15th year, presented two showings of “The Great Christmas Giveaway” on Dec. 10 and 11 at the Military Street Baptist Church. The choir has met weekly since mid-September and is comprised of 40 children from around the area, including several churches. The musical centered on the words of Jesus, “It is more blessed to give than to receive” — a perfect message at Christmastime when God gave us the best Gift, His Son, Jesus. They also collected money to send to the Strong Tower Orphanage in Caracol, Haiti (www.strongtowerorphanage.com), where an orphanage is being built in early 2012.
