Honored

Sue Knowles, right, was honored Nov. 14 by Modern Woodmen, a fraternal organization that promotes community service. Knowles was chosen for her eight years in leading girls through Girl Scouts. As part of her award, she received a voucher for a donation of $100 towards any non-profit group. She naturally chose to donate to the Girls Scouts to assist with fundraising for an upcoming trip to Washington D.C. Making the presentation is Tammy Fortier, activities coordinator.
