Caribou Parks and Recreation Department has Nordic Skis and snowshoes available for daily and weekend rentals. For more information please contact the recreation center office at 493-4224.
Zumba
Zumba classes are held at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center on Tuesdays from 9-10 a.m. and 6-7 p.m., on Thursdays from 9-10 a.m. and on Saturdays from 9-10 a.m. The fee is $3 for morning classes and $6 for evening classes.
Boys basketball grades 5-6
Boys basketball starts Jan. 10 and meets on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 3-5 p.m. Pre-registration is required.
Girls basketball grades 4-6
Girls basketball starts Jan. 9 and meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 3-5 p.m. Pre-registration is required for this program.
Kids playgroup
Kids playgroup meets on Wednesdays from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center. This is a self guided program. Participants can bring toys. No black rubber wheeled toys please.
MRPA Hotshots program
MRPA Hotshots program is a basketball skills development program that tests participants skill of ball handling and shooting in a one minute time period from five ‘hotspots’ marked on one half of the basketball court. Open to boys and girls ages 9-18. The age cut of is March 31, 2012. MRPA Hotshot competition meets on Friday, Jan. 27. Warm-ups are at 3 p.m. with the competition starting at 4 p.m. Pre-registration is required.
