New Sweden students get ‘hooked’ on acting

Trevor Hill, playing a young fisherman, certainly did catch a magic fish, Kennith Thompson, during the New Sweden School’s performance of “The Fisherman & His Wife” on Dec. 9.

It took a score of starfish to turn the young prince into a fish, and among the students who played starfish in the school’s production of “The Fisherman & His Wife” were, from left, Alyssa Howe, Gabriella Anderson, Silas McNeally, Grace Thompson, Ilsah Peterson and Phoebe Solomon.

With a combined cast and crew of roughly 70, it was one very large curtain call when students of the New Sweden School performed “The Fisherman & His Wife” on Dec. 9.
