Therapist joins Caribou clinic
CARIBOU — Officials with County Physical Therapy, LLC (CPT), have announced that Physical Therapist Christine Smith, DPT, has joined the CPT team in the Caribou clinic and is now seeing new patients.
Smith, originally from Chelmsford, Mass., is a recent graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, earning a doctorate degree in physical therapy. Her clinical experiences include affiliations in Aroostook County’s Cary Medical Center and Northern Physical Therapy, as well as County Physical Therapy’s Presque Isle clinic.
Paul Marquis, PT, and CPT vice president of clinical operations, worked with Smith during her student affiliation and feels she will add to an already strong CPT team of physical therapists. “In the time I’ve worked with Christine, she has already proven to be an incredibly intelligent and caring therapist,” stated Marquis. “She had a very successful student rotation with us and we are looking forward to watching her grow as a successful physical therapist,” he added.
Smith has completed all of the State of Maine licensing requirements, and is excited to have relocated to Caribou. “I was fortunate to experience Aroostook County during several of my clinical affiliations and wanted to stay in the area,” she explained. “I have met a lot of great people, and I look forward to working with them as a physical therapist.”
