Houlton Rec weekly hours and activities

The Houlton Recreation Department has announced its hours and on going activities for the week of Wednesday, Nov. 23.
Open gym and game room:
Grades 2-12: Wed., Nov. 23 closed for winter craft fair setup; Thurs., Nov. 24 closed Happy Thanksgiving; Fri., Nov. 25, closed for winter craft fair; Sat., Nov. 26, closed for winter caft fair; Sun., Nov. 27 1-4 p.m.; Mon., Nov. 28 2:45-5 p.m.; and Tues., Nov. 29 2:45-5 p.m.
Weekly activities:
    There will not be walking Wednesday through Friday this week due to the Holiday and Winter Crafts and Gifts Fair.
There will not be men’s open gym on Wednesday, Nov. 23. The usual time is each Monday and Wednesday 7-9 p.m. Cost is $2 per person, must be 18 years of age or older and out of high school to participate.
Women’s open gym will be cancelled this week due to the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Parent and Tot Time is cancelled on Thursday, Nov. 24 due to the holiday. The program is held each Tuesday and Thursday 8:30-10 a.m. These unstructured times give parents and tots the chance to meet new friends.  Some toys will be provided, but you may bring your own. Free to all participants.
Rug Hooking will not be meeting this Wednesday, Nov. 23 due to the Holiday Winter Crafts and Gifts Fair.
Umbrella Of Care  will be providing a free meal on Sunday, Nov. 27 from 4:30-6 p.m. in the downstairs lounge.
