PT Arnold Scott 1American Flag Color    HODGDON – Arnold M. Scott, 86, died Nov. 20, 2011 at a local hospital. He was born February 11, 1925 in Houlton, the son of William and Lillian (Kiley) Scott.
    Arnold served in the United States Army during World War II, seeing combat in the European Theater.
    He married Irene Comeau in 1949 and after her death in 1983, Arnold married Norma Jean Stacey in 1986.
    Arnold worked for Thompson Oil Company for 43 years, performing many duties but primarily was their burner technician.
    Arnold is survived by his wife Norma of Houlton; two sons from his first marriage, Carl Scott and his wife, Cyndi, of Hodgdon, Michael Scott and his wife, Tammi, of Houlton; five grandchildren, Duska, Cassie, Brad, Joshua and Tia; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gerald Scott of Houlton, William Scott of Caribou; one sister, Mary Russell of Houlton; many nieces and nephew; several stepchildren, Royal Stacey, John Stacey, Mark Stacey, Marsha Carmichael, Catherine Shrode, Mary Michaels, Rebecca Spearman and their families. He was predeceased by his parents; his brothers, Olin and Paul; and his sisters Helen, Harriett and Myrtle.
PT Arnold Scott 2    Friends called at the Dunn Funeral Home Tuesday 6 to 8: p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Wayne Robertson officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
