BEAULIEU, Donald P., 80, of Caribou, at Caribou, on November 7, 2011. Calling hours are from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday, November 10, 2011, at the funeral home. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church. Committal service and interment will take place at the Maine Veterans Cemetery at 2 p.m. Arrangements are in the care of the Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, Van Buren.
CARIBOU – Donald P. Beaulieu, 80, died Nov. 7, 2011, at a Caribou hospital. He was born in Van Buren, July 27, 1931, the son of Donat and Cecile (Doucette) Beaulieu.
Don proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army, 1st Cavalry Division, stationed in Japan from 1952 to 1954. He was employed as a carpenter for many years in Connecticut. Don was a communicant of Parish of the Precious Blood, Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Caribou. He was an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus Council 35 of Bristol, CT, the American Legion Post 15 of Caribou and the Connecticut Carpenters Union Local 24.
Donald is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Johanna (Castonguay) Beaulieu of Caribou; two brothers, Robert Beaulieu of Van Buren and Ralph Beaulieu of West Hartford, CT.
Relatives and friends may call at the Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren, from 9 a.m. until time of service on Thursday, Nov. 10. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church. Committal service and interment will be at the Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou at 2 p.m. on Thursday.
