Holiday Farmers and Artisans Market to be held at UMPI
PRESQUE ISLE — The University of Maine at Presque Isle’s College of Arts and Sciences will sponsor a Farmers and Artisans Market hosted by the Presque Isle Farmers Market on Nov. 19 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in UMPI’s Campus Center.
Vendors from Aroostook County Farmers’ Markets such as: Presque Isle, Caribou, Fort Fairfield, TAMC and Mic Mac have been invited to participate; memberships include producers of meat, dairy products, eggs, baked goods and winter vegetables. Artists producing pottery, jewelry, sculpture, photographs, paintings, drawings and fiber art will be displaying their works as well, along with the works of UMPI students. This event is open to the public.
