Volunteers sought
The Caribou Parks and Recreation Department is currently seeking volunteers to assist with the annual Halloween Party slated for Monday, Oct. 31. Parks and Recreation officials are seeking individuals, businesses or organizations that would be interested in providing a game or activity during the two-hour event.

Walking hours
Walking hours at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center are Monday through Friday 6 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Saturdays 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Men’s basketball
Men’s 30 and over basketball meets on Tuesdays from 7-9 a.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m.- 12 noon. The fee is $3 per player on Sundays.
Kids playgroup
The Caribou Parks and Recreation Department will provide gym space for parents and toddlers on Wednesdays from 9:30-11:30 a.m. This is a self-guided program. Participants can bring toys. Please no black rubber wheeled toys.
Fall fun festival
On Oct. 31 the Caribou Parks and Recreation Department will host a Halloween party for youths up to grades 6 from 6-8 p.m. There will be costume judging as well as games and prizes.
Youth ski rental program
The Northern Skiers Club and the Caribou Parks and Recreation Department have partnered to bring the Youth Ski Rental Program back to Caribou for all Caribou youth. This year season rentals will be available for all Caribou youth and include skis, boots, poles and a carrier for a fee of $80 which includes a $20 refund upon the return of the equipment in the spring. Rental forms have been distributed to Caribou youths in grades 1-8 with the official sign up and fitting night slated for Thursday, Nov. 3 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center.
