On Sunday, Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. talented County kids between the ages of 5 and 17 will be at center stage at the Caribou Performing Arts Center, as they participate in the annual Kounty Kids Got Talent Contest, sponsored by the Caribou Children’s Discovery Museum.

Sixteen contestants and two alternates were selected during the Oct. 15 audition to compete within their respective age divisions (ages 10 and under or ages 11 to 17). Although the afternoon’s judges, Danny Ladner, Cissy Buck and Robert Helstrom will off their comments and encouragement to each of the contestants, the winners will be decided by audience voting.

County kids are talented and Sunday’s event promises to provide a wide variety of performances, which just may include everything from singing, dancing, comedians and magicians to jugglers and musicians.

Tickets are $8 for adults or $5 for students and are available at Caribou Food Trend, Mr. Paperback in Caribou, or the Aroostook Centre Mall. Tickets will also be available at the door.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Caribou Children’s Discovery Museum.
