New Book, New Readers and more
    Houlton Hodgdon Adult Education announces New Book, New Readers, an informal reading and book discussion group, meeting at 10:30 am on Oct. 26, Nov. 9, 30, and Dec. 14 at the Houlton Higher Education Center. Cake Decorating meets at the Houlton High School on Tuesdays at 6 pm with instructor Cindy Webb.  Sewing begins on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 6 pm with instructor Penny Richardson.  A Health Care forum is also being planned for November.

Retirement Funds Course
A 3-session course on managing your personal retirement funds, will be held Thursday, Oct. 27, Nov. 3, and 10, 2011, 6-8 p.m. at the Houlton Higher Education Center. The instructor, Richard Hammond, CFP, of Sage Financial, will work through various scenarios of investing and maintaining your funds in an uncertain environment. This course is being offered by the instructor and the Houlton Higher Education Center for only the materials fee of $5.00. Registration is required so that adequate materials can be prepared.
