bs-quilt-dcx-pt-40The “Life in Maine Quilt” in honor of SPC Dustin J. Harris of Patten will help to get more Main Street Flags in Patten. The quilt was made and donated by Sandra Troutt, Harris’ grandmother. Each square was made by the following: Mt. Katahdin scene, loons, mama and baby moose, hiking boots, bears, tent, trout, fish basket and fishing pole by Troutt; fiddleheads by Ann Morse; moose, Janice Kennedy; chickadee by Sharon Sirois; beaver Myong Cullins; log cabin by Annalee Gould, with Amy Shannon doing the quilting of the squares. Tickets on the quilt are three for $10 or $5 each. For more information call Marty Arbo at Patten Drug Company.
