The University of Maine at Presque Isle womens’ soccer team improved its record to 5-4 after sweeping SUNY-Canton in road matches held over the weekend.
Lainey Herring had four of her team’s goals in Friday’s 5-1 victory, while Audra Kirk of Limestone had the other.
On Saturday, the Owls won, 2-1, behind goals from Herring and Desiree Smith. Taylor Ussery handled the goalkeeping duties in both matches for the Owls.
Fisher College of Boston pays a visit to UMPI for a match on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.
