Patten ATV Club news

On Sept. 24, the Patten ATV Club held their first landowner appreciation dinner. The landowners were treated to steak, baby back ribs and miscellaneous salads with cake for dessert.
After our guests finished their meals, vice president Craig Morse took three of our landowners for a ride in his Polaris Razor. Madelyn Townsend, Jeanne Smallwood and Jean Kilgore, ranging in age from early 70’s to early 80’s, viewed the trail work done on their property. The ladies truly enjoyed their ride and didn’t seem to mind getting a little muddy!
The club is pleased to announce that at the end of their first year they have 62 landowners and 92 members. We have signed permission for the use of 103 miles, plus permission to use several roads in Patten, Crystal and Mt. Chase. Not all of these miles are opened to riders right now, but the members are working on the trails and will continue to do so as long as the weather allows.
