ASHLAND & BREWER – Kenneth L. Beal, 56, died of a fatal heart attack on September 22, 2011, at his home in Brewer. He was born on June 5, 1955, the son of Frank and Ruth Burrill Beal.

He was educated in the schools of Ashland, graduating from A.C.H.S. in the class of 1973. He worked at various jobs in Aroostook County before moving to the Bangor/Brewer area where he worked for Lenforder Company before retiring in 2010. Kenneth enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, reading and watching Red Sox baseball.

He is survived by his parents, Frank and Ruth Beal of Wilton; two bothers: Keith Beal of Waterville, and Kevin Beal of Portland; a sister, Karen St. Peter of Mapleton.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, at 2 p.m., at the Mile Square Cemetery in Avon, with the Rev. Sue Kaplan-Burgess officiating.
