    DYER BROOK – Herman L. Nason, 60, died Sept. 29, 2011 at his home in Dyer Brook. He was born February 2, 1951 at Houlton, the son of Nora Nason and Richard Shaw.
    Herman was an avid fly fisherman and enjoyed his motorcycle and woodworking. He loved spending time with his sons and his granddaughter.
    Herman is survived by his wife of 40 years Lori (Rivers) Nason of Dyer Brook; two sons James Nason of Houlton, Adam Nason and his wife Valerie, his granddaughter Emily Grace Nason all of Crystal; two brothers Tony Rogers and Steve Rogers both of Houlton; his mother-in-law Leone Pappagolle of Enfield, CT; his father-in-law Franklyn Rivers and his wife Marion of Oxford; brothers-in-law Eric Rivers and his wife Shelly of Worcester, MA, David Rivers of Saco; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother and father and his stepfather Charles Rogers.
    Funeral service was held at the Dunn Funeral Home Saturday October 1, 2011 with Pastor Richard Murray officiating.
