19-year-old Monticello woman killed in crash

    LITTLETON — A 19-year-old Monticello woman was killed Sunday morning after she lost control of her vehicle and was ejected.
    According to Maine State Police, Kathleen Lombardo was driving a 2011 Nissan Versa southbound on the Foster Road at 10:40 a.m. Sunday when she lost control on the gravel road, according to Trooper Chad Fuller, who investigated the crash.
    The vehicle rolled over and Lombardo, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected. She died at the scene. Speed is considered a factor.  The investigation is ongoing.
    Trooper  Fuller was assisted by Trooper Dave Coflesky and Sgt. Julie Bergan of the Maine State Police. The Littleton and Houlton Fire departments also assisted at the scene.
