HHS golfers even record

    Houlton High School golfers evened their record to 2-2 with a split to Caribou last week.
    Last Wednesday, the Shires topped Caribou, 171-179 at Houlton Community Golf Club.
    Caribou’s Ben Wyman and Caleb Chapman tied for low medalist honors with 41s.
    Scoring for Houlton were: Cole McLaughlin and Doug Dickison, 42s; Lucas Peabody, 43; Cameron Clark, 44; Alex Donovan, 47 and Isaac Brown, 69.

    Rounding out Caribou’s scores were: Matt Kamm, 45; Connor Thibeault, 52; Corey Rideout, 53; Reggie Rideout, 55  and Katie Pelletier, 57.
    Last Tuesday, the Shires played the Vikings at Caribou Country Club and were edged, 187-183.
    Wyman and Kamm were tied for low medalists, with scores of 42.
    For Houlton, McLaughlin shot a 43, while Peabody had a 45; Clark carded a 48; Donovan and Dickison both finished with 51s and Brown tallied a 74.
    For Caribou, R. Rideout, 48; C. Rideout and Chapman, 51s; Thibeault, 55 and Pelletier, 60.
