RIBBON TYING — Dylan Oliver of Hodgdon Mill Pond School ties a ribbon onto a tree outside the school Friday in honor of Sept. 11. Students and staff of Mill Pond School participated in various activities. All students wrote letters to service men and women currently serving our country to thank them for their work and sacrifices. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited around the school’s flagpole.

COLOR GUARD — The Maine State Select Honor Guard of Houlton came to Hodgdon High School Friday to take part in a Sept. 11 tribute at the high school. The high school watched a video montage about the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
