Prevention: Lock your vehicle when leaving it parked. This practice will deter would-be thieves from entering your vehicle. Also when shopping, place your purchases in the trunk or out of sight. This too will help protect your vehicle and its contents from the roaming eyes of a thief.
If you see a theft happening call the Houlton Police Department (532-2287), Aroostook County Sheriff’s Department (532-3471) or the Maine State Police (532-5400). In the case of an emergency call 911.
