Surprise party marks Easton teens’ 16th birthdays

A surprise 16th birthday party was held for Jared Hafford and Harvey Brown at the home of Harvey’s parents, Julie and Harvey Brown.
Jared and Harvey were taken out to supper by Zach Clark and Carl Mullen and then brought back to the Browns’ and were surprised with family and friends greeting them.

BIRTHDAY BASH — Friends gathered for Jared Hafford and Harvey Brown’s surprise 16th birthday party. They had lots of fun playing volleyball, especially Jonah Bacon. Not really, but Jonah got hit in the face with the volleyball and had quite a nosebleed. We all thought we were reliving the movie, “Meet The Parents.” They also played a little soccer, a new game trying to knock bottles off a pole with a Frisbee and the cheeseball game. Probably the highlight of the night was karaoke. The Bacon boys, Jonah, Sam and Jacob took over the stage with their beautiful voices (NOT). Others sang too including Jared’s little niece, Ali, who is 5 years old. There was lots of food to eat and a bonfire.
BIRTHDAY GIRLS
Olivia Lamoreau, who is 10, and Rogena Thomas, who is 90, recently celebrated their birthdays together for a total of 100 years.
Birthdays/anniversaries
On Aug. 24, Anida Clark, Floyd Flewelling, Eric Verab, Tyler Clark and Mackenzie Nichols will all be another year older.
On Aug. 25, William Turner and Amanda Oelshiegel will have a birthday. Also on that day Vaughn and Laurie Martin and Sonny and Eleanor Green have an anniversary.
Steve Shaw, Sally Budreau, Kenneth Hammond and Jessica Harding all have a birthday to celebrate on Aug. 26. A very special happy birthday to my stepmom Sally Budreau. Have a great day. Also on the 26th, Sheldon and Fern Hull and Chad and Jennifer Richardson have an anniversary.
Becky Millet, Rogena Thomas and Gary Nations all have a birthday on Aug. 27.
On Aug. 28, Jonah Alexander, Dean McPherson, Carole Smith, Lee Saucier and Sandy Buckingham all have a birthday. Also Kevin and Nancy Nichols have an anniversary on that day.
On Aug. 29, Amy Perry, Terry White, Teresa Bain and Terry Cronkite will all be another year older. Also Cathy and Hank Kierstead and Freida and Rollie Dionne will be married another year on the 29th.
On Aug. 30, David Fuller, Brittanee Blodgett, Karen Hammond, Kaleb Tompkins, Stephanie Budreau, Seth Manning-Harris and Scott E. McEntee all have a birthday. A very happy birthday to Stephanie Budreau. Have a fun day, Steph. Also on Aug. 30, John and Electra Blodgett and Lennie and Deborah Young have an anniversary.
PRETTY LADIES

VISITORS
Joanne Johnson recently had her daughter, Lori Silvia, and her two daughters, McKenna and Taylor, visiting her for a week. They had lots of fun seeing different places around town. They loved visiting with the Amish families and buying goodies.
KATRINA MARTIN and Sam Bacon are pictured here with a bathing cap and shaving cream on their heads. Their teammates tried to get as many cheese balls on their hats as they can in one minute.
SOCCER
Soccer season is under way. We wish the best of luck to all of our soccer players both junior high and high school teams. It just doesn’t seem possible it is that time of year again. We will be there cheering you all on and hope to see you all in the playoffs.
